Introduction

Kirarin Revolution is a series that started out as a shoujo-manga, written by An Nakahara and serialized in the Ciao Magazine published by Shogakukan. Its anime adaptation began broadcasting on TV Tokyo in April 7, 2006 and it's still running.

The plot revolves around Tsukishima Kirari, a fourteen-year-old girl who enjoys eating and is accompanied by her cat, Naa-san. Upon a faithful encounter with SHIPS, a popular duo of cute male-artists, and the mishap in intruding on stage in front of a live concert audience where she declares to work hard to become an idol. However, she only wanted to be with Seiji, a member of SHIPS. Her dream eventually comes true, when she is selected by SHIPS's company to debut as a new artist. However, she must undergo rigorous training sessions to learn how to dance, sing, and act to survive in the entertainment world where she meets many new friends and rivals along the way and face many difficult challenges that question her morals.
